SPECIAL EVENTS
At Mirabelle, we joyously celebrate our special events for many reasons. One of these reasons, which conveniently aligns with The Early Years Learning Framework, is to evoke and inspire the children’s curiosity, imagination and creativity. This helps children form a strong sense of identity and a deep sense of belonging. We always strive to create an environment that nurtures and celebrates each child’s unique qualities, fostering a love for learning and laying a strong foundation for their future. Our mission is to create and celebrate communities through special events that inspire future generations to belong.
MIRABELLE SPRING FAIR
At Mirabelle, fostering strong connections with our children, families, and the community is a treasured and vital part of our ethos. As a token of our appreciation for being part of our Mirabelle family, we delight in giving back the love by proudly hosting the Annual Mirabelle Spring Fair each year. This joyous celebration takes place on the scenic property of our approved provider in the lush hinterland of Binna Burra. Fairs hold a special place in our hearts, particularly for the little ones. Overflowing with fun, they provide a space where dreams come to life, featuring jumping castles, kids’ rides, face painting, traditional egg and spoon races, and potato sack races that ignite young imaginations. Additionally, a bubble performer captivates the children, filling them with joy as they eagerly chase the gigantic bubbles, hoping to catch one!
MIDWEEK MINGLES
At Mirabelle, we are dedicated to fostering genuine, positive, and respectful relationships. Our Midweek Mingles embody the spirit of the Mirabelle Way, emphasising our strong support for family engagement in children’s learning. Through purposeful and consistent interactions, we aim to enhance children’s development and learning, while also bringing families together to create a special space for personal connections and friendships to flourish.
The Midweek Mingles bring families together to learn about their children’s room, resources, environment, rhythm, and the Horizon. These events also provide an opportunity to understand the recording of children’s voices and their learning processes. Through food, drinks, and music, families can connect on a personal level, fostering friendships and a deeper sense of community.
